Presbyopia - I need reading glasses!  
During the fourth decade of life many people notice theire reading vision becoming increasingly blurred. They often say 'I have to hold the paper further back to read'. This phenomenon is called Presbyopia and affects everyone sooner or later. Don't panic - simply book at eye examination and the optician will advise you how best to manage this with glasses or contact lenses.

What are your options?

• If you need different glasses for both close up and distance viewing then you can choose bifocals
• Varifocal contact lenses are available for those who lead an active life and will allow clear vision at all distances.
• You can also choose two separate pairs of glasses for distance and reading.
• Or you can choose varifocal glasses which allow you to see up close, far away and in-between. So you can wear the same pair for work, driving and going out.
